Characters representing an ascii sequence (using combinations of 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 X ! ?), presumably describing the graphic location information (positioning) of sprites to create the desired pose.

general observations

LummoxJR suggested back in October, 1997 that the first character in the pose string may refer to timing, with the next twelve characters corresponding to the twelve body parts, and the last two as unknowns. More information is still needed in this area.
